Kianalia (Kai) Towle is a veterinary technology student and mother who also works full-time at an emergency veterinary hospital. While pursuing her education, she has faced profound challenges, yet continues to persevere with grace and purpose – and the help of a PCC Foundation scholarship.

“My path hasn’t always been a straight one, but along the way, I kept learning and giving back... That’s why I started the “Left Turn” Scholarship: to support students who, like me, discovered their first path wasn’t quite the right fit."
Laurel Dickie, a PCC alum, understands the challenge of starting over in a new career and is committed to helping others. Through the PCC Foundation, she created a scholarship to support students whose journeys take unexpected turns. Laurel has also included a future gift to the Foundation through her estate plans as a member of the Amo DeBernadis Legacy Society.
