My newest album "Complex Truths" includes "Big River" - one of ten originals that showcases the magnificence of nature, while addressing the over-damming of our rivers. Collaborating with distinguished pianist John Nilsen, this song calls out the importance of re-naturalizing many of our treasures, such as the Pacific Northwest's Columbia River. While many dams are important to our survival, we can dismantle many others to re-naturalize habitats, and reduce catastrophic and financial risks.
