SLICC Ambassador- Miss/Ms/Mrs Divisions

I recently attended my first training for an upcoming Kairos Prison Ministry International - Group women's weekend. The women on the team are amazing and l am so honored to have this opportunity to work with them and to bring this ministry into the women's prison.
Kairos prison ministry is a lay lead interdenominational Christian ministry that aims to address the spiritual needs of incarcerated people and their families. There are three programs...Kairos inside, which I will be part of in the fall, Kairos outside and Kairos torch. You can learn more by visiting kairosprisonministry.org Kairos is an international program in 37 states and 13 countries. There are an additional 100 prisons worldwide waiting for the Kairos's program to be brought to them, but until there are more volunteers and resources that won't happen. This weekend was pretty !!! (See what I did there? 😀) Attended a “Say Yes To The Dress” fitting for one of the Maine Golden Beauty Pageant contestants. ( this is a local pageant for women over 60, to help raise funds and awareness for the elder abuse task force.) She looked like a Queen! 👑 Also delivered treats to a few Police Depts in honor of Police Week. Served on the Worship Team at church and volunteered for TIP. (Trauma Intervention Program) Wrapping things up doing laundry lol.
