⭐ Reactive Rover: Homeschool is a 4-week virtual course, perfect for people who can't make in-person classes work, or whose dogs aren't ready to be in a group setting!

⭐ Control Unleashed 1 & 2 are two different levels of 6-week-long in-person classes held at our facility, then out and about (as the weather allows). Perfect for building skills with reactive, adolescent, and/or soon-to-be city-savvy dogs. CU1 is required to be taken at least once before CU2.

⭐ Nose Knows and Nose Knows More are two levels of our scent games classes. Each level is a 5-week class, held in-person at our facility. Week 1 of Nose Knows is virtual, but the remainder of class is held in-person. Scent games are a ton of fun and are great for enriching your dog's life, building confidence, and strengthening your relationship with your pup. We can also generally accommodate reactive dogs in this class.

Leash Walking Woes (Part 2) 🐕🚶

What are some simple changes we can implement immediately to help meet our dog's needs on walks?

▪ Longer leashes: Upgrading from a 4-6ft leash to an 8-10ft leash can make a world of difference for some dogs.
▪ How much time do our dogs have on their walks to "do dog things"? Sniffing, watching, investigating, rolling (hopefully not in p**p, just grass 😉).
▪ Pay attention to your dog! What skills need more practice?

⭐ Teaching solid loose-leash skills takes time. There's no "quick fix" that isn't going to cause discomfort, frustration, or pain.

P.S. Put your phone away while walking your dog! We don't want to miss opportunities to reinforce desirable behaviors or engage with your dog, and we can easily get trapped in a situation where your dog isn't yet able to succeed in.
