Stewart Warner 5k 2:1 mechanical tachometer from a 1964 Century boat which submerged (after and before photos). This speed unit speedometer movement (aka not designed to be disassembled for service, only replaced in its entirety) was fully torn down, cleaned, repaired, extensively de-rusted, assembled and calibrated as original. No substantive cosmetic improvements were made beyond a basic cleaning so that all of the gauges would continue to look like a matched set. Boat gauges lead tough lives in the best of situations and submersion is not something they are designed to handle at all.

British AC manufactured fuel sending unit for a 1953 Sunbeam Talbot after and before. Many repairs required to get this functioning again. Just for kicks British AC uses what looks like a standard US 5 bolt mount pattern fl**ge but it is not, it is a larger diameter
