I am sad to say that today the Governor of Oregon has enacted an executive order that will require all non urgent healthcare procedures to be postponed until no earlier than June 15th. in addition surplus masks and gloves are to be turned over to the state to be distributed to hospitals fighting the COVID virus.
I will be seeking clarification from authorities on what amount of supplies may be retained for treating patients that develop dental emergencies. until that runs out it does sound like we will only be allowed to treat true dental emergencies.
please feel free to call me if you are experiencing severe pain, swelling, bleeding, etc., or if you just want to chat (I won't be doing much!)
one final note I would like to once again encourage all of you to wash your hands, brush your teeth, and now more than ever FLOSS! also as many of our patients know stress in our lives can lead to grinding of the teeth at night, finding your night guard and wearing it might be helpful now as well.

I have truly enjoyed the last three years, and look forward to seeing everyone again in June.
