When you let negative, misaligned emotions fester over a long period of time, they become stronger and uncontrolllable. Just like a river, the further it gets a way from its source the more raging it can be, cross the river at it’s source, before it becomes too turbulent to cross or it turns into a lake or ocean, when easy to drown.
