For this event, we were given a color palette, a general concept, and the creative freedom to design. Knowing it would sit in front of top industry leaders, people who have truly seen it all, the goal wasn’t another floral tablescape. We wanted it to feel different. Something they haven’t really seen before. Not just flowers, but more of a living, creative art installation people could actually experience.

Moments of the table were designed to reflect the ceiling of the cave. We created individual artful and sculptural designs using some of our favorite flowers, living moss, wire, and branches locally foraged from the surrounding area in Bend.

There were still luxurious, floral-heavy arrangements - peonies, garden roses, hydrangeas, but the table was deeply textural. Soft textiles were draped through different area creating an airy, smoky feel as they hung low and blended into the sticks and natural elements.

The whole intention was to pull inspiration from the environment while also pushing past the expected. Using materials people don’t usually see on a table. Everything’s been done in some way, but the hope was to give these industry leaders something a little different to look at. Something organic, unexpected, and just otherworldly enough to shift the energy around it.
