With extreme heat in the forecast, it’s up to us to keep our pets safe, cool, and comfortable.

Here is your quick checklist for pet safety today:

-Shift walk times: Stick to early mornings or late evenings. If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

-Double-check the water bowl: Ensure they have constant access to cold water.

-Take it easy: Limit outdoor exertion during peak afternoon hours.

-NEVER leave a pet in a parked car. Temperatures inside a vehicle can heat up quickly, creating an emergency situation for your pets.
