This photo was taken in 1939, on SW 2nd Ave., the same block Mama Chow's Kitchen is located. The second building (the white one) on the right is Pine Street Market. They were celebrating Chinese New Year with a Lion Dance. Now, 82 years later, we will be celebrating Chinese New Year with @whitelotusliondance at 1pm in approximately the same location.
