ALMANACS
We have dozens of really, really OLD ALMANACS. We are bringing them to the Book Fair.
The oldest is 1762.
We will have them for sale at $1 per almanac. The condition is not great, especially for the oldest ones.
Buy a piece of history for $1.
We will have other interesting offerings in history. Also some neat fishing books. And lots of children's books.

Book buying
I had a guy call me and ask if I was interested in buying some of his World War II books. He was moving and was going to sell his books.
So on Saturday, Ilse and I went to look at the books. He had between 600 and 700 books. They were in stacks on shelves and on the floor. That's a lot of books!
Unfortunately someone had broken into his house. There was a big window broken out in the front room. So the heat was turned off. It was chilly - no it was really cold!
We spent over an hour looking at books, but just couldn't stay any longer. I bought 7 bags (50 books). When we left, we were frozen stiff. We stopped at a little restaurant and each got a cup of coffee so we could wrap our hands around the cups and thaw our fingers.
I got some interesting titles. I wish I could have gone through the books more slowly, but it was just too cold.
(He has since sold the remaining books to another book seller.)

We have added 7 vintage Nancy Drew books with their original dust jackets to our Etsy store. Three have the jackets with the white spine, and four have the wrap-around picture. All seven are hardbacks with the blue tweed covers.
