Photo from yesterday. My Saturday ritual is to stop at the market on my bike ride in to work and grab some veggies to go into the week's raita and dhal. This week I picked up some asparagus for our raita and chard for the next batch of dhal. Support your local farms and value add food producers!

Spring means strawberries and I've switched up our side salad dressing to one of my favorites - Strawberry Kalonji (known as Nigella in the west). Sweet and tangy and with just a hint imof spice. Available as an add on to all our entrees or just as a side too. Swing by here at the pod afterwards to grab a strawberry dessert too!

Not your auntie's butter chicken. We marinate them thighs in kasoori methi, sumac, and chipotle pepper overnight and then gently cook them to be super tender. Reheated with a high temp sear when you order and tossed with our classic makhani sauce - butter, cream, tomatoes, and secret spices.
