King Shot Press

When King Shot was launched in 2014, I only wanted to shine a light on the rare kinds of writing I loved, most of which seemed homeless, scattered back then. I didn’t realize this could keep going, that I’d get to meet and collaborate (and sometimes get into trouble) with so many brilliant writers, editors, and designers.

This dark flame turns 10 next year. And these next few books might just be the final run. Forever grateful to everyone who’s followed along, has given us a chance, may take a chance on these writers someday. Together we’re gonna give the new s**t our all and see where things land. The next time this account gets updated, it’ll be with book announcements, event dates, and more. We’ll see you there. 🖤

It’s been a little while…

Waiting on cover approvals and working on copy/kits for books, meaning: it looks like our hiatus is finally over. It’s been two years since our last release, three since we announced a slate.

The new stuff won’t be for everyone.
