This is the computer simulation of what the micro machines mosaic will look like.

The organizer boards hold the micro machines in a grid so I can photograph them in batches. I take the average color of each one and calculate where to place it in the final photo. I end up with a spreadsheet telling which board, row and column is used for each “pixel” of the final mosaic.

Seems so full of joy to me.

When done with a wave, the dolphins jump out the back.
