On this day, one year ago..I first heard the term GLIOBLASTOMA.THE BRAIN SURGEON SAID THERE WAS A BASEBALL SIZE TUMOR ON MY BRAIN.HE SAID THE WORD, "TERMINAL"...I SAID. WHAT?DO YOU KNOW WHO THE HELL I AM? "YOURE GIVING UP BEFORE EVEN BEING INVITED TO THE TEAM?"HOW CAN I TEACH MY grandchildren the importance of NEVER GIVING UP? WHEN ONE OF MY OWN MEDICAL TEAM IS THROWING IN THE TOWELL BEFORE EVEN TRYING ? MY POINT IS..ITS BEEN ONE YEAR SINCE MY ENTIRE LIFEWAS FOREVER CHANGED. ALONG WITHTHE LIVES OF SO MANY OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.WHEN Cancer attacks a loved one...the whole family is affected.. all of society is affected.
My estimated prognosis one oyear ago and historically..《37% make it 2 years...good grief! Being the 5th of 6 kids to a single mom..ive had to fight my entire life.nothing it seems has been easy in my life.i really don't want to have to fight til the very end. If I didn't, what kind of example to those who love me would I be? Thank you to everyone for your love and support. Its meant the di between,4 weeks..and 1 year! Thank you!
