Providence Place Sober Living
Providence Place closed its doors permanently, after 12 years, close to 1000 men and uncountable experiences.
As we trudge this road of happy destiny, we felt it appropriate to celebrate some of God's work.
This past week:
2 residents completed 5th steps.
3 residents listened to sponsee 5th steps
1 found full time employment
1 stepped up into Peer-Leader position
12 men stood at podiums within our community
1 resident moved back home with his wife and children, and will be celebrating 1yr on the 15th
Coming up this week:
1 resident will celebrate 1yr on the 16th
1 resident will be reading his 5th step
3 residents will be experiencing their first round of amends
These are the blessings we get to witness on a daily, when we follow our HP's direction and remain present.
"Life will take on new meaning. To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends—this is an experience you must not miss. We know you will not want to miss it."
