Our Story
Drive Away Hunger is a nonprofit licensed auto dealer that benefits Portland Rescue Mission’s purpose: to give hope and restore life to people suffering from homelessness and addiction.
Portland Rescue Mission provides food, shelter, recovery and other vital services to men, women and children affected by homelessness, addiction and abuse.
The vehicles donated to Drive Away Hunger provide meals, shelter, and care - including 24/7 restrooms, showers, warm clothing and more - for thousands of people in the Portland, Oregon area.
In fact, the typical car donation provides meals and care for more than 652 people in need.
And your vehicle donation also gives vocational training to hundreds of men and women.
