This session will be about setting life-serving boundaries that invite connection, not conflict. Elia will guide participants in learning how to say “no” by honoring deeper “yeses,” using language that fosters respect, clarity, and authentic collaboration.
As a certified trainer in Compassionate Communication (NVC) since 2006, Elia brings wisdom, heart, and decades of experience helping people grow the kind of relationships that make life truly rich.
Explore yourself in our afternoon session with Cai Delumpa and Monique Breault—certified Enneagram teachers, leadership coaches, and co-founders of Hive - "Coaching from the Inside Out"
Cai Delumpa and Monique Breault will guide participants through a journey of self-awareness using the Enneagram—a transformative framework that reveals how our core type shapes our coaching presence. This session offers an overview of the nine types and helps coaches tap into their own growth paths, deepening connection with self and amplifying their impact with clients.
With more than 60 years of combined experience, Cai and Monique bring warmth, wisdom, and a touch of humor to everything they do. As life and business partners, their work is grounded in deep listening, creativity, and a passion for helping leaders and teams thrive—by being better together.

ICF Oregon is proud to present Denise Gaskin, M.S., PhD, PCC - our past chapter President and speaker for the morning session of our 'Grow Tools' track at the 2025 ICF Oregon Spring Conference. Denise is a passionate leader, coach, and organizational psychologist whose work explores the evolving edge of coaching in the digital age.
As AI technology rapidly advances, it’s challenging coaching professionals everywhere to define what truly sets our work apart. Coaching is not simply about applying models or offering advice—it’s a human-centered, deeply relational process that helps clients feel seen, understood, and supported in the context of their unique values, personalities, and challenges. This is the very heart of coaching—and it’s exactly what Denise will explore with us in her session.
In her session titled: “AI in Coaching – Will it Replace the Human Connection in Coaching?”, Denise will lead us through a thoughtful examination of what AI can and can’t replicate—and why preserving the human connection is more essential than ever. She will share with us a Reflexivity Framework for technological consequences which articulates how considering technological
consequences should be, and already are, a part of coaching. We will explore, together, ways in which we may alter our ways of connecting to adapt to current technology, using digital tools and spaces to ENHANCE and CREATE THE IDEAL CONNECTIONS with our clients.
Denise brings an extraordinary depth of academic and professional experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Tennessee, where her research focused on dialogue, collaboration, reflective practice, and culture. She also holds an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University and a B.S. in Exercise Science from Ball State University. A certified integral coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, Denise has conducted original research with introverted female leaders and is currently writing a book on how to work more effectively with introverted clients—set to be published by Routledge.
Her career path is as dynamic as her coaching: from developing health promotion programs in healthcare and manufacturing, to leading operations for a multi-county behavioral health organization, and later serving as COO of a law firm. Today, she runs a thriving coaching and consulting practice, guiding individuals and organizations to the next level of performance and impact.

Tied closely to International Coaching Federation core competencies, the session offers practical tools to help clients reflect, self-regulate, and take empowered action toward lasting change.
