The 2023 housing market is anybody's guess so early in the year. While inflation may be curbing slightly, the Federal Reserve is still going to raise the fed funds rate to continue to put downward pressure on it. Home prices have gone down from their peak late last Spring as mortgage rates caused many people to halt their home buying/selling plans. Because of this same factor, inventory remains low because people aren't moving.

While a crash is likely not happening, the market will continue to make adjustments. Hopefully, we'll see more action this Spring as the busy time of the year sets in.
