Last Saturday, p:ear youth, volunteers, and rolled up our sleeves and gave Q-Side Skatepark a refresh ahead of National Go Skate Day!

From sweeping and scrubbing and laying down fresh paint, our crew spent the day under the sun helping make the park look good, skate better, and feel welcoming for everyone who uses it.

Huge thanks to everyone who grabbed a roller, got sweaty, and helped get the park cleaned up!

Creativity has been taking shape at p:ear with youth learning ceramics techniques with our friend and BIPOC Artist in Residence Dina ( ), a local artist known for creating beautiful functional pottery.

From shaping and sculpting to experimenting with texture and design, youth explored the creative process and expressed their unique ideas. Thanks for being here, Dina!
