Welcome to a brand new Dusita, Light of Bangkok: Mandarin Oriental! Light of Bangkok is a woody aromatic scent with subtle floral touches and a brightly fresh, invigorating aura that feels universally inviting. This luminous, joyous fragrance reflects the timeless elegance, warm hospitality and refined luxury of the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, featuring natural raw materials that are cherished in Thailand.
“One of my most vivid childhood memories of growing up in Thailand is admiring the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. My father often took me for walks along the Chao Phraya River and seeing this majestic place by the water always filled me with wonder. I envisioned Light of Bangkok as the aromatic essence of the hotel’s grace and sophistication, blending Thai and French ingredients to capture its warmth, elegance, and serene luxury.”
- Pissara Umavijani, Dusita’s founder & perfumer
notes: bergamot, clary sage, lemongrass, orris butter, jasmine, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, vetiver, musk

Is it hot in here, or is it just Moth and Rabbit’s newest release Challengers? Inspired by Luca Guadagnino’s visceral and acutely observed film, this fragrance reflects the film’s fascination with desire as a force of disruption. Just as Challengers traces the unraveling of three lives bound by competition, ambition, and unresolved longing, the fragrance explores the tension between control and surrender - the charged space where identity is tested, and emotion refuses to be contained.
The fragrance opens with a sharp, luminous burst of bergamot, orange, mandarin, and lemon, edged with the unexpected bite of rhubarb and the cool intrigue of modern woods. At its heart, magnolia and violet are softened by the fleeting sweetness of raspberry and white florals, grounded by an aquatic stillness that breathes beneath the surface. The dry-down settles into something enduring and deeply human: Virginia cedar, sandalwood, patchouli, amber, and musk - roots that hold, even when everything else is in motion.

We are excited and proud to announce the first addition to the Fumerie family that began as a Fumerie Maker’s Residency featured artist: Pearfat Parfum! We are also happy to share that we are introducing this wonderful brand alongside publishing a blog interview with Alie Kiral, Founder & Perfumer of Pearfat, and Tracy Tsefalas, Founder & Owner of Fumerie, which you can explore by clicking here!
Alie Kiral’s work was truly our inspiration for the program in the first place, as we realized while first exploring Pearfat, there is far more out there we want to share with our beloved, discerning, and enthusiastic community than we could ever possibly carry. We also wanted to expose more folks to the growing DIY and self-taught movements that are happening all over the world currently (even our Residency participants spanned multiple countries), and to give a spotlight to the folks taking big swings in an industry that typically keeps up a lot of walls, and strictly perpetuates norms. Though we had to take a break from our Residency Program to focus on other projects (such as Ponte Etereo, and local collaborations), Pearfat has stuck in our mind and stayed on our radar until we finally said, “You know what? It’s time to bring them to Fumerie!”
Mixing cheeky, bright, and fun with dark, punk, diy aesthetic both in packaging and scent design to dazzling effect, Pearfat brings to Fumerie some of the most outstanding work in the emerging self-taught American aesthetic.
