Portland Fall Classic

The roof on the Portland Boathouse warehouse where we store all our rowing shells, motorboats, and various other equipment during winter collapsed on February 14. RCRC lost at least two motorboats and a few singles, as did our sister club, Station L. The building is currently considered too dangerous to enter so we don't know yet what other equipment may have been lost. Meanwhile, all our larger shells (seen in this photo on racks) cannot be removed and remain inside the unstable building. The Portland Boathouse has set up this GoFundMe to help offset losses sustained by RCRC, Station L, and the Portland Boathouse. We appreciate all the support we are receiving from the community.
