Introverts hate people, extroverts love people.
But it's not always that simple...
Being an introvert or extrovert is more about where you get your energy from.
Introverts tend to get their energy by recharging alone. Having some quiet solo time replenishes them.
Extroverts feel energized by interacting with others. Drawing on the give and take of a group is crucial to their well-being.
Of course, that's an oversimplification too.
Some extroverts love being with other people, but only a few at a time or only for a certain length of time.
Do you know if you're introverted or extroverted? Or maybe both depending on the situation.
Take some time to think about where you feel most comfortable, what type of people you like being with, and what makes you feel replenished.
Knowing that will help set yourself up for success when you're in a new situation or around new people.
