Hey friends! We got amazing news and not so fantastic news. Hurley's surgery successfully removed his cancer with sufficient margins that we can celebrate our dude being cancer-free! Woot!!

Bad news is that his surgical incisions are having a tough time healing up properly so he's headed to the ER this morning for evaluation and I will need to close down the shop at some point later today to pick him up. It's the ER so I can't for sure estimate time but will likely be mid to late afternoon. If I miss your visit this afternoon, feel free to order online for pickup this evening or tomorrow morning. I'll let you know as soon as I'm back and your order is ready for pickup. Thanks for your understanding! As a thanks, here's a photo of the handsomest dawg in the whole wide world.

So I was going to post a funny story about how we were open for a few hours this morning because I needed kale and if I was going to drive half-way to the shop to go get kale, then I should just go all the way and be open for a few hours and it would have been the most PDX thing I've ever done. But then I got stuck pulling out of my parking spot in front of my house so nah....we closed today. Hope to see you all tomorrow!

This is H-dawg and MoMa, who enjoyed her very first snowstorm as I imagine many Pyrs do....hunkering down to accumulate as many snow balls on her long white fur as possible. Good girl, MoMa.
