Beacon Reflection — The Mirror of the Moment

The mirror of the moment shows me my being — not my doing.

It does not measure accomplishment.
It does not track progress.
It does not ask for proof.

It simply reflects what is here.

And what is here is breath.
Awareness.
A quiet hum beneath thought.

There was a time I believed the mirror would show me what I had built —
the songs written,
the work completed,
the movement made.

But the mirror is more honest than that.

It shows presence.

It shows the one who is before the song.
The one who is before the action.
The one who remains when everything pauses.

And in that being something subtle gathers —
not pressure,
not striving,
but fullness.

When the reflection is clear,
we stand on solid ground,
not deceived by the noise of passing storms.

The waves may rise and fall,
but the bearing holds.

Steady as she goes, captain. ⚓🌊
