LGBTQ+ community space focused on creating space, resources, and programming for marginalized groups.

Good morning all. Gonna make this brief. Starting today, October 1, 2021, Candy’s is taking an indefinite hiatus. This means that we won’t be facilitating any programming and events or operating in any capacity for an undetermined period of time. This account won’t be checked.

This project has officially been running for 2 years now, over half of which has been amidst a pandemic. During that time, we’ve experienced many highs and lows, sometimes at extremes, and learned some really tough lessons and some more obvious ones. But mostly, this project has existed in the vast space in between. It’s our hope that all of that information and experience can serve current and future projects working to create inclusive spaces that are rooted in kindness and community, in service of marginalized groups, and that celebrate human beings.

We all need breaks. It’s time to step back, enjoy the sunrises and sunsets, breathe, rest and heal.

Take good care of yourselves and each other ❤️

With deep love and gratitude,

Candy’s 💕
