This is a ridiculously overdue post to celebrate The Big Tease: A Burlesk R***e at last month ✨ Bringing this cast together felt like kismet and frankly, I did my ordination right by showcasing and preaching love, beauty, and ridiculous talent by way of this mirth-filled show. What can I say apart from the art form of burlesque is DIVINE!!!

Every single photo was taken by the astronomically talented - one trillion thanks for capturing all these gorgeous glimpses of this incredible show 📸🙏❤️

A HUGE thank you to for trekking up from the Big Apple and giant thanks and kisses to for showing that Maine is nothing to mess with with it comes to spectacle and magic 🪄

I also want to give a massive thank you to Susan Hodder, the executive director of The Waldo. I have never worked with an ED who went out of her way to use every promotional lever and tool to make this show the success it was. I have been doing this work for 19 years and have been mega blessed to work with many fabulous venues, owners and staff. Susan made me and us feel welcome, celebrated and lifted up every single step of the way. I hope that every performer no matter the medium to work with people like Susan. Truly, thousands of gold stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are honored to be donating all proceeds to Rabbit Hole Housing Cooperative thanks to and all their amazing work. Rabbit Hole Housing Cooperative’s mission is to create stable, rent-controlled, cooperatively-owned housing for its Q***r, Trans, and majority BIPOC membership. They are in the final stages of acquiring a Portland property that would house 8-12 people to live in a cooperative environment that will support them as creatives to build collective capacity to meet the times we are living in.
