Resurrected Photography

This precious little chapel happens to be the church that I grew up in, and inside of these walls was a home away from home, a place that I went to escape from the world. I learned, as a little girl, that I had a heart for singing and acting inside of these walls, and found lifelong family that I still hold close to me today.
This is the congregation that still gathers here each week to keep Camas' historical little First Christian Church filled with love and life; I was honored when they asked me to take this photograph for them!

Last night I tried sharing some sneak peeks of this amazing couple's session, and it's acting a little strange. I can see the caption that I posted, but not the photos. So I'm trying again :)

This phenomenal woman gave me the honor of photographing her wedding a few years ago. The privilege I have of now watching her family grow, and to be able to document it for them, is beyond words.
What a dream.

My friend has been struggling with so many blows lately. A constant tight rope battle she balances, fighting more fiercely than she realizes at times. Dallas is a strong companion, guiding her along the way.

This is for you, love. You are brave, gentle, a force beyond words. You've conquered every single challenge you've been faced with, there's nothing that can stop you. Just believe.
