Meet Sascha Bachmann — musician and video artist exploring the place where sound becomes image.

As the musician HAND, Sascha became fascinated with frequencies and the idea that sound isn’t just heard — it can be seen. That curiosity led him into vector synthesis, oscilloscopes, and analogue video. “What excites me most about video art is the intersection between precision and unpredictability. Working with analogue systems means that accidents and imperfections often become part of the final work.”

His HEARWHATYOUSEE project translates frequencies into photography, moving image, and live audiovisual performance. He’s now expanding it through new installations, an XY plotter, and generative systems — building toward larger immersive experiences that invite people to slow down and observe the invisible structures of sound.
