What started as a group of National Arts Honor Society (NAHS) art students' concept for a sports-themed mural on the exterior gym restroom walls grew into a multi-year labor of creativity and dedication. On April 15, 2022, members of the NAHS began the project by whitewashing the walls and preparing the space for the mural.

Each year, as weather and temperatures allowed, NAHS students returned to carefully continue the painting. Now, after ​the years of hard work, the mural is complete! The final touches were added just last week on June 12, 2026, by the student artists and their advisor, art teacher Mrs. Evy McLean.

We are very grateful to Mrs. McLean and the many students who invested countless volunteer hours, energy, and talent to bring this vision to reality. The finished mural is a wonderful celebration of Royal athletics and school spirit. Go Royals!!

During the busy week leading up to graduation, the Booster Club hosted its annual Silent Auction and Athletic Awards Ceremony. Athletic Director Erik Lyslo reflected on the accomplishments of the fall, winter, and spring sports seasons, highlighting league championships, postseason appearances, and state competitions.

Following coach nominations and a selection process conducted by Booster Club committee members, student-athletes were recognized for their outstanding achievements, character, and contributions to their teams. Award nominees were also presented with certificates during the ceremony.

Athlete of the Year – Olivia Felton & Keylon Kittleson
Coach of the Year – Andrew Jannsen – (Cross Country, Girls Basketball – assistant coach, Track & Field)
Team of the Year – Girls Track

PC is so grateful to the Booster Club committee members who have volunteered through the years, encouraging students, strengthening our school community and supporting our athletic programs: Molly Smith, Sarah & Ben Kittleson, Nacole Burniston, Katie Riskey, Michelle Smith, Meredith Johanson, Katie Lyslo, Courtney Bonner, Jocelyn Thurber. Departing senior parents Molly Smith and Nicole Burniston were honored for their tireless and commitments to PC Athletics!
