Carnation Contemporary presents Lost Lake, a solo exhibition by Chris Lael Larson, on view February 7–March 1, 2026. This marks the artist’s second solo show with the gallery and highlights his continued evolution into sculptural work. Bringing together photography, painting, and sculpture, Lost Lake draws from the landscape of Oregon’s Mt. Hood National Forest through a cyclical, immersive process. Photographic images are transformed into layered assemblages and sculptural forms incorporating acrylic, shaped wood, mirror, and crystal elements, creating an immersive experience that challenges perception and material boundaries.
