Portland small businesses are stuck in survival mode and although I feel very confident that Garnish will be fine, a lot of businesses will not (just recently Sarah Shaoul of @bricksneedmortar consulted with 6 businesses on exit strategies😢). Contact your city officials and ask them to center small businesses, especially as they look at the forthcoming budget. 4. See if you can shift your own purchases a little more towards small business. 5. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO DO THESE THINGS AS WELL!! Without your help a lot of the places we know and love will close and our neighborhoods will change. It will take a village to save the village…. But it’s possible. ❤️
