It’s about that time of year when humans like to hop all around gathering w/other humans to eat, drink & be merry & while that is absolutely bunderful (we do need more of that energy hopping around 🐰🫶🏼✨) it is CRUCIAL to not forget about us buns! 🥺🙏🏽

All animals, feathered, furry, scaley, finned, & hooved all deserve time, love, & attention but sometimes that balance can be tricky while you humans try your best to navigate that adulting thing you’re always talking about, (like all day every day, adulting, adulting…you should really try to flop more) & when you sprinkle in some holiday travels & shenanigans to your already overflowing plate, your well intentioned bunny care plans may binky off course. 🙃

Enter Vinnie Bun to the rescue! These are just a few things that I invite you to consider during the holiday season - while traveling and/or just being out of the burrow more often than usual.

This may not be news to you, but sometimes a little reminder nudge can be helpful! 🧠

While us buns are quite magical & enchanting, we are rather delicate as well & when things go awry (sometimes due to a temperature change, loud noise, new items &/or people in our burrow, unfamiliar smells, change in our routines, etc) we may stop eating, peeing, &/or pooping & need immediate care time & is of the essence! That is why we really can’t be left unattended for very long & if we do have any sort of bunny caretaker filling in, (preferably in our own burrow or boarded with an exotic vet) that human(s) absolutely MUST be bunny savvy in order to pick up on the often subtle signs that we may display showing that we may be in distress & might need to see our Exotic Veterinary Doctor ASAP.

This is a big deal & sadly, well intentioned humans can make mistakes that can be fatal to buns. 😭 That’s why it’s important to share info within our communities to help keep everybun safe, healthy, & happy throughout the holiday season.
