Anyone else miss 2016 Instagram when we only had 15 seconds and no one posted polished videos, just the raw takes in the room with a phone mic? I’ve never been one for figuring out algorithms, alchemy on the other hand, I’ve transmuted a few less than ideal experiences of life into art

Nights of writing often look a lot like this. Moody, messy and just figuring it out as you go. This is what I love the most about art, it’s the catharsis in exploration of how to decorate time and space. Sure, it may be “wise” to only show your best work, but this is what the process actually looks like, and it’s my favorite part. Music to me is a mode of communication, and what good is a conversation if it’s not relatable?
