Tomorrow at commencement, be sure to look (and listen) for our instructor team in the crowd, rocking bright pink shirts and waving bright pink signs! We’ll be the ones standing out like flamingos 🦩🦩🦩🦩 at a penguin 🐧 party, & you’ll surely hear us hooting & squawking in excitement for y’all & your big day!
We’re just so dang proud— 🥹 and we can’t wait to see you & celebrate you there!! 🎉🥳

Program instructors are having lots of fun learning & practicing placing sutures! 🤩
Here is my (Andrea’s) first poke at it— pun intended! 🪡
While we won't be stitching up humans, (you know, scope of practice!), it's super cool 😎 that this term we will start teaching our Portland Community College Medical Assisting Program students how to remove sutures!
Just another way we empower our grads to provide top-notch patient-centered care at the 🔝 of their scope!
