The Melody Event Center

Our Story

The historic Melody Meetings & Event Center is located moments from downtown, just across the Morrison Bridge. With six distinct event spaces, this spacious venue can accommodate up to 2,000 guests and offers flexible floor plans for every occasion.

With nearly 6,000 square feet, the Melody Ballroom comfortably seats up to 400 guests for dinner. A 30-foot high ceiling, ivory and gold tones, brass chandeliers and an expansive hardwood floor create an elegant ambiance ideal for your grand occasion.

The Melody’s vintage 1920’s speakeasy, The Keep, has been transformed with modern amenities and new finishes in its inviting bar/lounge area along with the Tilikum Room, a cabaret-style event space. Up to 400 guests can be accommodated in the combined 6, 900 square feet.

The 1,968 square feet Portlandia Ballroom is on the second floor and features beautiful windows filling the space with natural light. Ideal for groups of 75-150, it can be complemented with the Broadway Room to maximize the space.

The 1, 048 square feet Morrison Room boasts large windows and beautiful wainscoting. Adjoining the Melody Ballroom, the Morrison adds capacity and function for larger events. It comfortably accommodates groups of 50-200.

The 1, 048 square feet Hawthorne Room is a bright East facing room filled with natural light. Comfortable for groups of 25-125, it can be booked alone or with the Melody Ballroom for large events.

The 594 square feet Broadway Room offers versatile space for smaller meetings and gatherings, or in conjunction with the Portlandia Room for larger events. With high ceilings, natural light, white walls and vinyl flooring, it can be a great temporary work space or studio up to 60 guests.
