After years of health challenges and limited mobility, Annette believed some everyday tasks were no longer possible.

Then she discovered the Papa benefit through her CareOregon Advantage (HMO D-SNP) plan. Through Papa Pals, Annette found support that helped make daily life a little easier.

“My life is definitely better because I can rely on the kindness and the help that I receive via Papa,” Annette shares.

Whether it’s a ride to the grocery store, help with household tasks or simply having someone to talk to, Papa Pals provides support that helps members maintain their independence and enjoy the activities that matter most to them.

Did you know roughly 1 in 3 people in Jackson County receive their health coverage through Jackson Care Connect (JCC)?

“Everyone in Jackson County knows someone covered by JCC. Our members are your coworkers, friends, neighbors, the person who cuts your hair and the kid who sits next to your child in class,” said JCC Medical Director, Leona O’Keefe, MD.

When people have access to preventive care, behavioral health services and treatment for chronic conditions, they stay healthier, can support their families and contribute to their community. That’s why JCC invests in local partnerships, models of care and the health care workforce to improve health outcomes and help ensure members can access the care they need close to home.
