This is not how any of us envisioned 2020 starting. Like so many other small businesses we are feeling the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. Essential or not, no amount of contingency planning could’ve prepared us to handle a scenario of this magnitude. It’s certainly sent shockwaves through all markets, and although we’re equipped to weather that storm, there’s a far greater concern. That is the safety and we’ll being of our staff and customers.

As a small fourth generation family owned business, at the core of who we are, is the people we’ve been fortunate enough to forge relationships with over the years. We are truly appreciative of our entire crew and loyal suppliers who have helped shape E. Perry Iron into who we are today. That is why for now, we’ve elected to continue servicing our existing commercial customers albeit on a limited basis while adhering to safety and social distancing protocols. We are not viewing this vulnerable time as an opportunity to gain new business (as this would create unnecessary paperwork, handling and increased exposure), but rather to take care of those who have stood by us. These are unprecedented times and we hope that everybody understands and respects our decisions. We eagerly look forward to brighter days, and a future where we can resume a normalized operation.
