Traditions are soothing in difficult times.
The day after July 4th is Mac and cheese day at casa de Nuki, because unless you leave your business unsupervised to be pillaged by dogs, crows, and squirrels, there’s always leftover chips gettin stale.
Just take the whole assortment all together. Here we have Doritos, Flamin Hot Fritos, and potato chips.
Just grind em up in the food processor or smash em up fine in a bag, toss with a couple tablespoons melted butter or garlic oil, and use as crumb topping for your Mac and cheese. If it’s too hot to turn on the oven for baked Mac and cheese, just toast your buttered crumb mixture in a pan til golden brown and crispy.
Goes good with the leftover beer.
