Rain, rain…don't go away! At Trinity Day School they love the rain thanks to their new rain suits from their Hannaford Supermarkets Eat Well, Be Well grant money. The funds enabled them to purchase one for every child so playing outside, no matter the weather, is possible now and the kids love it! Take it from Will, a five year old who shared, "I love my rainsuit cause I can splash in puddles and make mud soup when we play outside!” Mud soup for everyone!

Today is International Joke 😂 Day - but the heat 🔥 is no joke! The hot weather is here, and so are the risks that come with extreme heat. Young children, the elderly and those who are pregnant or who have chronic medical conditions can be especially susceptible to heat-related illness.

Here are some tips from Dr. Samir Haydar, vice chair of clinical operations at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland, on how to stay safe, even as you enjoy summer this holiday week.
