This sauna may be my favorite thing I’ve ever built. Every single piece of it is considered, weird and cool. It pulled me out of a creative slump, and was a true labor of love, patience, and enormous amounts of child labor. Come see it tomorrow at our open house, 1:30-3:30.

Worn acoustic ceiling tiles were replaced with hand finished lye-washed cedar planks to complement the original wall paneling that runs through the home at our Laurelhurst Modernist project. Captured on film by
