Walker Macy has been the planner and designer of 29 acres of campus expansion to establish a new on-campus residential community. These dynamic outdoor spaces were designed with students at the heart—creating welcoming, walkable, and socially vibrant environments that support connection, wellness, and everyday campus life. We’re at SCUP Pacific Regional Conference in Monterey this week where Mike Zilis and Lara Rose will be part of concurrent sessions. Mike, with our clients from Portland State University and Portland Community College, will present about campus open space to meet the evolving needs of students in the wake of Covid-19. Lara Rose will join colleagues from NAC and Western Washington University for a concurrent session about our recent Capital Development and Strategic Vision Plan which aims to support student success and retention with flexibility to navigate uncertainties.
