Sign up in person to spin a casual 15-minute vinyl set, open to all skill levels. Whether you’re an experienced DJ or just curious, come get familiar with the gear.

will be on hand to answer questions and offer tips. We’re here to learn from one another, build community, and share the love of music.

It is all about trading within community. This is not a vinyl swap meet, and there will be no vendors*

If you’ve got records that haven’t been spun in a while, bring them along to trade with your peers, or to swap with something from the community crate.

★ Friends Share Bracket 3 Commander Tourney! ★

Our weekend of MTG continues with our second-ever commander tournament! This Saturday, from 5 to 10pm, we’re hosting a casual EDH tournament for Bracket 3 decks and below.

$10 buy-in. Style points matter almost as much as wins.

Earn points through gameplay achievements, wild moments, and table interactions, not just taking the pod.

Everyone will walk away with something!

Bring your favorite deck, make some plays, and enjoy a day of chaotic Commander.

Bring your singles! We will be joined by who will be running their MTG pop-up where you can purchase and/or trade to get those cards that you ve been looking for!

Bring your pod or hop into a new one! All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned planeswalker or brand new to the game. We’re here to connect, play, and have fun.

Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase! As always, we’ll be raffling boosters and other MTG goodies throughout the night (you’ll receive one ticket for every $3 spent).

★ Scenes from Open Mic Night ★

We hosted our last Open Mic night of the Summer this past weekend. Suffice to say, it was such a beautiful evening and we’re so grateful to everyone that came out to share, support and coexist in such a safe and vulnerable atmosphere.

We’re looking forward to seeing you on the mic again in the Fall, friends!

★ Writing Club! ★

With the help of our club leader Christy , Friends Share is hosting our next Writing Club meeting on Tuesday, July 21st from 6pm to 9pm.

This month, we’ll be conducting our very first Revision Workshop! Bring in a piece you’ve been working on, maybe one that’s feeling not quite fully formed, and get specific, actionable feedback from other writers in writing club. Everyone will brainstorm 1-3 specific questions about their piece that they’d like answered, and everyone will leave with fresh ideas for their in-progress pieces.

We started Friends Share Writing Club out of our shared love for language and the art of self-expression. This is a space to write freely, experiment, explore, learn from one another, and connect with friends.

★ Bangkok Belly X Friends Share ★

We’re so excited to be popping up at Bangkok Belly on Saturday, July 18th, for our first-ever collaboration!

We’ll be lighting up Belmont with a Thai street food dance party. Our friends at Bangkok Belly will be serving a special menu just for the event, featuring unique skewers and cocktail offerings.

Disco, Funk, Hip Hop and more will be brought to you by Yuco, Francis, and Limanjaya.

We’ll be hosting another Cà Phê & Cards this Sunday since we won’t be having Casual Commander this week!

Do you have a deck you’ve been itching to build, cards you’re looking to trade, or games you’ve been hoping to play?

Come spend some intentional time with us this Sunday from 10am to 2pm at our café to do all of the above.

Whether you play Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, or another TCG, bring your binders and deck boxes to build, trade, and play.

And if TCGs aren’t your thing, no worries, we’ll still have you covered with coffee, bánh mì, and tea.

★ Open Mic (18+) ★

Join us for our last Open Mic of the Summer this Saturday, July 11th.

Sign-ups at 5pm, with performances kicking off at 6pm.

We’ll have a keyboard, acoustic guitar, and microphones ready to go, but bring along anything else you’d like to share your music, poetry, or creative expression. We’ll take a few short breaks throughout the night.

Come hungry and thirsty, there’ll be plenty of food and drinks to keep you fueled.
