★ Cinema Club (18+) ★

It’s time for a Thursday night movie! Join us June 11th, from 6pm to 9:30pm, for Cinema Club!

Our club leaders, Sam & Kyra, will introduce the evening’s film, which will be kept a surprise until you arrive! If you guess it, please don’t spoil it for others.

Doors open at 6pm, giving everyone time to arrive, mingle, ano settle in. The screening will begin promptly at 7pm. And it’s absolutely free!

After each film, we’ll open the floor for discussion, diving into themes, technical elements, film movements, and personal interpretations.

Together, we’ll explore the vast landscape of world cinema in an accessible, informal setting, emphasizing curiosity, conversation, and appreciation for film in all its forms.

★ Craft Club (All Ages) ★

Join us June 9th for our Tuesday Craft Club with !

We’ll be making enamel painted glass cups, perfect for your Summer bevs! Each cup comes with a glass straw and bamboo lid, and Morgan will provide tips for curing your design at home!

Suggested $10 donation via Venmo or cash at the event to help cover materials and keep our club thriving.

Come get creative and design your new favorite little keepsakes.

★ Half-Decent! Bake Sale with Jake ★

Jake is back at Cà Phê this Sunday, June 7th, with another round of his incredible sweet and savory baked goods!

He’ll be bringing everything from spanakopita and Swedish almond-cherry fika, to a gâteau breton with blackberry jam, black & white cookies, and politiko thessaloniki (a Greek semolina cake soaked in syrup with custard).

Join us this Sunday at Ca Phê from 10am to 2pm for Open Decks with our good friend !

Hang out over coffee, banh mi, vinyl, and great conversation.

Sign up in person to spin a casual 15-20 minute vinyl set, open to all skill levels. Whether you’re an experienced DJ or just curious, come get familiar with the gear.

Joshua will be on hand to answer questions and offer tips. We’re here to learn from one another, build community, and share the love of music.

★ Friends Share Bracket 3 Commander Tournament ★

This Saturday, from 12-5pm, we’re hosting a casual EDH tournament for Bracket 3 decks and below.

$10 buy-in. Style points matter almost as much as wins.

Earn points through gameplay achievements, wild moments, and table interactions, not just taking the pod! Everyone will walk away with something.

Bring your favorite deck, make some plays, and enjoy a day of chaotic Commander.

Casual commander is back this Friday, from 6pm to 10pm!

Bring your pod or hop into a new one! All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned planeswalker or brand new to the game. We’re here to connect, play, and have fun.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase! We’ll be raffling boosters and other
MTG goodies throughout the night (you’ll receive one ticket for every $3 spent).

★ Photography Club! ★

Whether you’re an expert photographer or new to the world of film or digital media, Friends Share Photography is the club for you! We’re welcoming photographers of all skill levels and all kinds (film, digital, even your smart phone) to come join us in a monthly exploration of new prompts, educational workshops, tips, tricks, and most importantly, community.

Last month our club members collaborated with our Writing Club and took photos based on a piece of work written by our writing club members.

We’ve had a month to explore our interpretations of that prompt, and everyone will be sharing their work with the group this next Thursday, May 28th! If you’re new and will be joining us, we will debrief themes and questions from our last meeting, discuss everyone’s work from this past month, and get into the next prompt!

This meeting, we’ll also be embarking on a short and sweet nature walk around Powell Butte right behind our community space to take some cool photos and get outside together!

We emphasize accessibility and encourage any and all questions. This is a space for us to all learn from each other, and we are so excited to see what we can all create together. So bring whatever camera you’d like to work with—we’re so excited to see you on Thursday!
