Blessings upon your Eid al-Adha, the sunset of this year, this invitation to pilgrimage. May you know in the sole of your soul that the divine is with you on every possible path.
"Consciousness will need to precede the doingness. And the doingness will have to be done differently."
In this segment from Episode 5, teacher and Zen Master Norma Wong explains why our current moment requires more than just new to-do lists—it requires a fundamental shift in how we perceive the world.
According to Norma, "consciousness will need to precede the doingness." If we are to adapt to this "reconfiguring of all things," we have to be willing to break our old theories of how the world is supposed to operate and find a new way of being together.
Listen to the full conversation explore the urgent wisdom of Zen and indigenous perspectives in a time of collapse.

Words fall short to capture the immensity of last night's event, Lilac in May: Art & Resistance, featuring poet Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, artist Madeleine Jubilee Saito, and musician Aly Halpert. We'll say more soon, but for now, we'll share this – a crowd-sourced depiction of the qualities of art that make it a vessel of resistance.
Wisdom and tenderness abounded. We're beyond grateful to our guests and to each of you whose presence enriched this gathering.
