Are you ready to embark on a journey towards strength, confidence, and empowerment? Join us for Learn Your Lifts, a comprehensive 4-week class designed specifically for absolute beginners who want to dive into the world of strength training.
At PDXStrength, we understand that starting something new can be intimidating, which is why this class is tailored to help you build a solid foundation in weightlifting. Over four weeks, you will learn the essential techniques and principles of strength training in a supportive and encouraging environment.

What to Expect:

- Fundamentals of Lifting: Each week, we will focus on key lifts such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and more. You’ll learn proper form, technique, and how to avoid common mistakes.

- Hands-On Instruction: Our experienced coaches will guide you through each movement, providing personalized feedback to help you feel confident and safe while lifting weights.

- Building Strength: As you progress, you’ll not only develop physical strength but also gain confidence in your abilities. We’ll celebrate your milestones and encourage you every step of the way.

- Community Support: Join a group of like-minded individuals who are also starting their strength training journey. You’ll make new friends and find motivation in a supportive community.

- Flexible for All Levels: Whether you are completely new to exercise or have some experience but want to improve your technique, this class is designed for everyone.

By the end of this 4-week class, you will have a solid understanding of the fundamental lifts and the confidence to incorporate strength training into your fitness routine. Get ready to transform your approach to fitness and discover the strength within you!

We are offering an 8 week Sunday pop up series at 5:30 pm, starting January 11th. This is included in your membership, or you can drop in.
Step beyond the barbell and discover what real-world strength feels like in our Everyday Strong 8-week program — where grit meets technique. Each Sunday evening at 5:30 PM, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Strong training, mastering movements that build total-body power, endurance, and confidence.
This hands-on series blends skill development, progressive overload, and practical power, all leading up to a mock Strongman competition in the final week — your chance to test your strength and celebrate your hard work in a fun, supportive environment.
What You’ll Learn:
🔥 Keg Press: Build explosive upper-body power and coordination.
💪 Front Hold: Develop shoulder endurance and mental toughness.
🚶 Carry Medley: Master moving heavy loads efficiently with better grip and core control.
🧱 Arm-Over-Arm Sled Pull: Learn to generate total-body strength and power.
⚡ Deadlift: Refine technique and build a foundation for all Strong lifts.
