The Tabor Wind Ensemble, conducted by WPU Adjunct Professor Gene Burton will be performing its Spring ’23 concert on March 18 in the WPU McGuire Auditorium. The group of 65 talented musicians, comprised of WPU staff, faculty, and students; current and former band instructors; and members of the community, will be performing 2023: A Musical Odyssey, exploring various planets and nebulas including
•Earth (Fanfare For The Third Planet)
•Orion Nebula (Journey Through Orion)
•Jupiter (From Holst, The Planets)
•Venus (Transit Of Venus, Sousa)
And of course the Symphonic Suites of Star Trek and Star Wars.
Now in its third year, the ensemble performs two concerts a year. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
