A lot of people hate on the new year but for me it always feels like a reset.

A breath of fresh air.

A time to reflect on where I was and how far I came.

Contrary to popular belief I think looking back (even if it was a sh*tty year) is so helpful to your overall growth.

Almost every year I write in a journal what I want, what I'm proud of, what could have been better, etc.

And every single time I look back, I realize (even in the sh*tty years) I'm living out my dreams.

I used to write almost every year I wanted to be debt free. As far back as I can remember.

And guess what? I am!! All because of the bankruptcy i filed 😂

Talk about a glass half full moment.

This year I want to really get my money beliefs in check because it's not just about me anymore.

I want to build better habits (which lemme tell you, a bankruptcy helps with that because you cannot have ANY kind of credit for like 5 years) so I can teach my kids how to be better with their money.

I'm finding the light in every situation, even the ones that seem too dark to have any.

If you look hard enough, there is always at least 1 star in the sky to help you find your way 🥰

As cliche as it sounds it's truly day 1 of 365.

My biggest goal?

Live a life that is the best example for my daughter.

I'm raising a strong and brave woman, so I gotta act right ❤️

That starts with my circle. No more surrounding myself with people who don't pour into me.

I'm only here for relationships that are 100/100.

I'm also going to speak my truth more than ever before ❤️
