The Jim Pepper Native Arts Council has produced our 10th annual Jim Pepper Native Arts Festival, aka "Jim PepperFest 2022: Water Spirit."

Our great friend Dr. Jose Cuellar, PhD, (aka Dr. Loco) Chicano educator, musician and bandleader walked on a few days ago. He curated two annual all-star Jim Pepper tribute concerts in San Francisco, at the La Brava Theater in 2015 and at Yerba Buena Gardens in 2016.
In 2017 he and fellow saxophone player Francis Wong traveled to Portland to join our celebration. He will be missed by many.
