Our July Intro to Lace classes kick off on Wednesday! This one-session class is designed to get you started on your first lace project and build confidence in your knitting.

Are you interested in lace knitting, but feeling a bit overwhelmed? We have the perfect pattern for your first lacework project: the Snaraness by gudrunjohnston . Snaraness is a pattern inspired by her Mum, who frequently wore knitted lace headscarves. While the pattern calls for the use of a lace weight yarn, it can easily be knitted in a heavier weight for a thicker texture. We love the use of a yarn over at the beginning of the row for added playfulness and whimsy.

In just over a week, we’ll be setting up camp at Walker Stadium for an evening of knitting and baseball!!

Join us on Tuesday, July 21st at the Pickles game! We’ll be on the the Left Field Berm with yarn and fun summer vibes. Gates open at 6PM. Bring your WIP and your team spirit!

We’ve gotten a few questions about our fiber library, and we’re happy to say YES! The Fiber Library moved with us! It’s right around the corner from our front door on 33rd.

This cute idea came together a few years ago and it’s been an amazing part of our shop’s community. It’s stocked up with yarn, fiber tools, and books. Take something, leave something, whatever you’re called to do! It’s great for trying new materials or a new craft without any financial investment. Free fiber offers an opportunity to play and lowers any barrier to entry. On the other side, the fiber library is a great option for anyone destashing. If you have materials you no longer have use for, consider donating to the fiber library!!

It’s time to introduce another RD team member! This time, it’s Avery (me!!). I’m our social media manager and part of our shipping team, and previously I worked in our dye studio. Outside of work, you can find me in the ceramics studio, starting yet another craft, and playing d&d or trivia with my buds.
