The Israelites thought freedom from Egypt meant they were on their way straight to the Promised Land, but instead they found themselves in a wilderness they never would have chosen. It’s a good reminder that a difficult season isn’t always a sign that something has gone wrong...sometimes it’s simply part of the journey God is using to lead us somewhere we couldn’t get to on our own.
